Some things money doesn't cover.

    There's no fee. There's a job.

World Tech Day brings 800 students in grades 3 through 8 to Legacy Arena on November 13. It's free for Title I schools because sponsors fund it — and it fills up because our community fills it.

I've been to a lot of events where partnership meant a logo on a program. This isn't that.

    What we need.

The Community Coalition is for organizations that can help in ways a check doesn't. There's nothing to buy and nothing to sponsor. What we ask instead is one specific, countable contribution — and then we actually use it.

    There are two ways in.

    Feeder

    Feeder Partners

bring students. Youth organizations, churches, recreation centers, homeschool co-ops, mentoring programs, and after-school providers who can get young people through the door.

    Ecosystem

    Ecosystem Partners

bring reach and hands. Chambers of commerce, civic organizations, sororities and fraternities, colleges, libraries, and community groups who can spread the word and send volunteers.

    Track one.

    You bring students.

One thing, and it's countable. Feeder Partners commit to a headcount, and that number is the whole agreement. It can be fifteen students or a hundred and fifty. What matters is that you name it and we can plan around it — because your number becomes rotation schedules, lanyards, and group guides.

    What you get

    • Admission for the young people you bring, at the classroom rate or free if you serve Title I students
    • Your organization listed in the event program and on this website
    • Reserved seating together for your group during the opening show
    • A dedicated group guide for the day
    • Pre-visit materials so your students arrive knowing what's coming
    • First access to our year-round programming: C3 Culture Code Camp, Family AI Nights, and the Community Innovation Center
    • Photos of your group, licensed back to you for your own reporting and fundraising

Bring fifteen. Bring a hundred and fifty. Just tell me the real number.

    Track two.

    You bring reach and hands.

    Two things, both countable.

    Reach.

Share World Tech Day with your network at least three times before November 13. A newsletter mention, a social post, a flyer at your front desk, an announcement at a meeting. Three touches, however you do it.

    Hands.

Send at least three volunteers for event day.

That's the whole commitment. Three shares, three volunteers.

    What you get

    • Your organization listed in the event program and on this website
    • Recognition from the stage during the day
    • Volunteer credentials, training, a crew shirt, and lunch for your people
    • An invitation to the partner debrief afterward, where we plan 2027
    • First access to our year-round programming and volunteer opportunities
    • Photos of your volunteers, licensed back to you

Volunteers must be 18 or older and complete a background check. Volunteers under 18 are welcome — they apply through the Crew program instead, and we'll send you that link.

    Straight talk.

Four things, said now instead of in November.

    This isn't a booth.

Coalition partners don't get exhibit space. If you want a table, apply as a vendor — both pathways are open.

    This isn't branding.

Your logo appears in the program and on this website. It doesn't go on signage, lanyards, or the stage backdrop. That's sponsorship, and it's a different conversation.

    This isn't a sales channel.

No selling, recruiting, or collecting information from families on our floor. Not for contests, not for giveaways, not for anything.

    This isn't passive.

We cap the Coalition at 20 organizations specifically so every partner gets used. Partners who commit and don't deliver aren't invited back. We'd rather you decline today than under-deliver in November.

If your organization has a marketing budget for community events, you're a sponsor, not a partner.

Sponsorship gets you branding, an activation on the floor, and a written report. Partnership gets you a seat in the work. Both are good — they're just different, and it's usually a better deal for you to know which one you're in. Ask us and we'll tell you honestly.

    COMMITMENTS AND DEADLINES

If your question isn't here, partners@worldtech.day goes straight to a human.

    Twenty seats.

    Applications close October 1, 2026.

The Coalition is capped at 20 organizations. We review every application against one question: what specifically can this partner do that we can't do without them?

If we say yes, you'll get a short partner agreement naming your commitment, your student or volunteer count, and your point of contact on our team. If we say no, it's almost always about fit or capacity rather than merit, and we'll tell you which.

Not sure which fits? Email partners@worldtech.day and we'll figure it out together.

Twenty organizations. That's on purpose. I'd rather know everybody's name.
